What is it:

Mangoes come from the mango tree (Mangifera indica). They are tropical fruit that is eaten when peeled and often sliced into smaller pieces.

Rating:

Mangoes have numerous health benefits and are rich in many nutrients, however, they are higher in sugar and lower in fiber compared to some other fruits. Mangoes are high in vitamin C and are a good source of folate. Mangoes have also been shown to improve blood sugar levels in obese people and contain antioxidants such as polyphenols.
