What is it:

To produce rice flour, rice is first soaked to soften the grains, the husks are removed, and what remains is ground into a fine powder. The rice flour can be made from white rice, brown rice, or any other type of rice. Rice flour is a versatile ingredient commonly used in gluten-free baking to make cakes, bread, and pastries. It’s also used as a thickener in soups and sauces and as a coating for fried foods.
