What is it:

Calcium citrate is a calcium salt derived from citric acid. In specific health conditions, such as osteoporosis, calcium citrate maybe useful. Calcium citrate is produced with citric acid, which is rated yellow, due to potential health concerns with the use of the bacteria Aspergillus niger in its production, a black mold and known allergen.
